Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 September 2026 · Applies to the MayaBooks website and native apps
These terms are an agreement between you and PremiumAV Private Limited ("we", "us") for the use of the MayaBooks service ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms.
1. The Service & subscription
MayaBooks is a paid, cloud-based billing, inventory and accounting service. Website plans are ₹4,999 for 1 Year, ₹9,999 for 3 Years, and ₹29,999 for Lifetime access (inclusive of applicable taxes) for all features. Website timed plans are fixed-term subscriptions — there is no automatic renewal or auto-debit; your access continues for the period you have paid for, and you choose whether to renew. We work hard to keep the Service stable and your data safe; it is otherwise provided "as is" without a warranty of uninterrupted availability.
Purchases made inside the MayaBooks iPhone, iPad or Mac app are processed by Apple using the price and currency displayed in the Apple purchase confirmation. The 1 Year Apple plan is an auto-renewable annual subscription unless you cancel it through your Apple account before it renews. The 3 Years Apple plan is non-renewing, and Lifetime is a non-consumable one-time purchase. Apple manages billing, renewal, cancellation and eligible Store refunds for those purchases. Restoring a valid Apple purchase does not create a second charge.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate contact information so we can reach you about your account and your data.
3. Your data
The accounting data you enter belongs to you. We do not sell it, and we access it only to operate the Service, to support you when you ask, or where the law requires. You can export your data (Excel/CSV) and take backups (including to your own Google Drive or SFTP destination) at any time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, including issuing false or fraudulent tax documents;
- attempt to breach, probe or overload the Service's security or infrastructure;
- access another user's data without authorisation;
- resell or white-label the Service without a written agreement with us.
5. Compliance features
MayaBooks provides GST-format invoicing, an append-only audit trail and statutory-retention-aware data handling. These are tools, not advice: you remain responsible for your own tax filings and legal compliance, and should consult your Chartered Accountant for professional advice.
6. Availability and liability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the use of the Service is limited to the subscription fee you paid for the current period, and our remedy is limited to re-performing the Service or restoring data from the most recent available backup.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or that show signs of fraudulent activity. You may stop using the Service and export your data at any time. Where the law requires financial records to be retained for a statutory period, deletion requests are honoured subject to those retention requirements (see the Privacy Policy).
Cancelling an Apple auto-renewable subscription stops future renewal; it does not erase your MayaBooks account or accounting records. You can manage the subscription from your Apple account settings and contact us if you need help locating the relevant controls.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves — material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
